By applying the UrbanLED80 on Avenue Avenida Infante D. Henrique the municipality of Vale de Cambra wanted to provide the major route with high levels of energy efficiency combined with an improved lighting quality.

The inauguration ceremony, attended by, among others, Mayor José Bastos da Silva and councilor Manuel Carvalho has demonstrated that the success of the "LED Street" project in the city of Vale de Cambra makes Avenue Avenida Infante D. Henrique a reference for future projects concerning to aesthetics and rationality in the use of street lighting equipment.

The improved avenue has high traffic density and pedestrian crossings. Therefore, it was important to use LED technology, once good color rendering gives the drivers a wide range of benefits, increasing visual comfort and the ability to distinguish between objects, resulting in the reduction of road accidents at night.
